Abstract
¶
The Governor requested that the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services work with other stakeholders to create a Climate Change Action Plan in December 2007. While the focus of the plan was on mitigation; adaptation was not to be overlooked. The importance of adaptation efforts and the implications of inaction were not clearly understood at first. Ultimately adaptation recommendations were agreed upon by the Task Force and steps towards adaptation planning are underway. We’ll share our adaptation recommendations, lessons learned, and opportunities for future collaboration.
